Users can scan the unique QR code found on every Lacta chocolate or enter the unique URL in their mobile or desktop browser.
If the chocolate doesn't already contain a hidden message, users are promoted to compose their own, clicking on the "compose" button.
They then have to login with their Facebook credentials, in order to identify themselves and keep a record of all the messages they’ve sent.
Users can compose messages with text and optionally attach photos. They can select if they want their Facebook identity revealed or stay anonymous.
Then they have to give the chocolate to the recipient, or pass it on anonymously.
Recipients simply scan the QR code and read the hidden message, without having to login to Facebook.
If they want to reply, recipients login and compose their message. If they want to be notified, they can check the box to get email notofications.
Senders get notified and read the recipient's reply. If the page remains open, the interface behaves like a chatting application with auto-refresh.
Messages can contain a photo taken from the camera or attached from the camera-roll.
When users first compose a message, they can choose to remain anonymous.
Recepients -that somehow get the chocolate in their hands- read the hidden message without knowing the sender.
They can reply and the message will reach the anonymous sender. They can keep chatting like that until senders reveal their identity.
